Free games and challenging puzzles are fun for games lovers. Cyclanoid is one of them, it is a set of challenging tile-based games and puzzles. The objective is to arrange the tiles in the center of the board to match the ones displayed along the game-area border. However, you move the tiles in groups of four or more by spinning them with a control located in the corner where four tiles touch. Similar to a 2D Rubik's Cube, Cyclanoid is harder than it looks since you must get the tiles aligned without disrupting your previous work. It also includes a built-in visual builder of puzzles for creating your own games. The graphics are attractive, and MIDI-based music and crisp digital sound effects add to the fun. Plus, an automated demo shows the movement options of the more complex games.

 » Fifteen Magic 1.41
download web site opinions problem?
Fifteen Magic is an implementation of the classic Fifteen Puzzle dating back to the 1800's. When the "New Game" command button is left clicked, the 15 numbered squares are randomly shuffled and the objective is to restore the 4x4 grid to its original state. Left clicking any square horizontally or vertically adjacent to the empty yellow square causes it to move to that empty square. The challenge is to figure out a series of such moves to achieve the desired objective. In theory, 10461394943999 starting positions may be generated. Each starting position, or permutation, is identified by a "Game #" and may be "saved" by storing the corresponding Game # via the "Save Game #" command button.
