MidiDesign's MIDI Normalizer is able to set the maximum volume level found in a midi file to a predefined value, and all other volume settings will be adjusted to maintain the original mix of the file. It can also do the same for all note velocity values. But there's more you can do with this software... - Compressing - there's a build in compressor that can first compress all velocity values before normalizing is applied.
- Automix - allows you to add or subtract a predefined volume value per instrument.
- ChannelMute - lot's of midifiles contain a lead vocal track on MIDI channel 4, "ChannelMute" lets you mute channel 4 to get rid of these vocal tracks.
- Extracting lyrics - If the mid ifile contains song lyrics, you can extract these lyrics and save them to a text file.
- Creating track sheets - The software collects information about every mid ifile while scanning the files. You can optionally save this information to a text file.
- Creating playlists - When you have added midi files from different folders, you can easily save the created filelist to a playlist.
- Built in MIDI player - There's a basic midi player included to play the selected files from the filelist.
