ADX Toys for Outlook is a COM add-in that adds several useful features to Microsoft Outlook. The add-in is based on Add-in Express 2 technology and designed to show you how to create add-ins, how to manage add-in's toolbars and controls, and how to get an access to Outlook objects. ADX Toys 2 OL supports MS Outlook 2000 and higher.
If you have installed the Outlook 2000 security patch which disallows receiving certain types of files "Chilton Preview" for Outlook gives you a nifty preview screen that allows you to retrieve any enclosures that Microsoft says you cannot get. Chilton Preview is an extension specifically designed to work with Microsoft Outlook. It adds a window below the message list window that displays the contents of the currently selected message and the To:/Cc: recipients. You can customize the preview window by right clicking on the preview window and choosing the Chilton Preview tab under Tools | Options. Internet and email addresses are highlighted in blue within the preview window and can be clicked to launch either a browser or new mail message window. File attachments can be opened or saved when applicable.
RealAccount is a freeware plugin for MS Outlook XP and later to enhance Outlook accounts handling. RealAccount gives you the ability to choose a preferred account and signature for each defined mail folder. Instead of manually selecting preferred account and signature when composing an email, RealAccount automates the process allowing you to define a specific account and signature for each mail folder. Select the appropriate folder and your new email will be set up with the account and format you have chosen.
The Outlook addin is an application of the SpamBayes project that adds support for the SpamBayes spam-ham-unsure classifier for sorting email. The current version of the plug-in should work with Windows 98 and above and Outlook 2000 or above (not Outlook Express).
