This tool finds double files very fast on every directory and drive of your computer, it is simple to use and finds files based on their CRC-32. So if you download a lot and don't know if there are a lot double files with different names, this is the tool for you. Also a very nice tool for system administrators! Be *careful* deleting "duplicate" files, make backups first. Duplicates just might not be duplicates and something might stop working!  author: D.E. DoublesFinder is a program to localize double files on a computer, and possibly to send them to the Recycle bin. A double file is defined as two files with the same contents, even if they do not have the same file name. DoublesFinder does not need any installation - Just copy DoublesFinder.exe anywhere on the hard disk and double-click on it. DoublesFinder does not destroy any files it simply finds them, there is a user selectable option to send them to the Recycle Bin. Dupes Locator is a very useful utility to find identical files on your hard disk drive. Usage is simple - run dupes_locator.exe . If drives list is not specified only local fixed disks will be scanned. Default minimal file size is one megabyte unless you specify a different size.
