PCLReader views & converts PCL (Printer Control Language file (printer-ready bitmap) (Hewlett-Packard) & Text into PDF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, PCX and Text. Once viewed, a PCL or Text file can be printed to any Windows printer driver. This is useful when you have a non-LaserJet PCL printer and need to print a Mortgage Loan, Insurance or other form-intensive legacy applications that require PCL4/5/5e LaserJet printers. The ASCII text can be extracted from PCL files for data migration. It can also split PCL files.

Printing Monitor is a simple way to control your printing so that you don't accidentally print pages you don't need or want. This application runs in the background and monitors your printing. You configure your printing limits, if the print will exceed the limits the printing will pause and a popup will show and alert you. You can choose either to continue printing or stop the print. It is per user configurable and can also interact with the author's website forums, statistics and more.

The main advantage with TxtPrint compared to standard text editors is the ability to divide the page in several columns and rows. This is very useful for saving paper and getting more text on a single paper. An additional feature is to handle files with different file extensions differently. You can for example define that files with a certain file extension always should be printed using a predefined tab spacing. Swedish version available from the site.
