I've been using Jarte for months now, to maintain my ToDo lists and other text files that I want to keep handy. I wanted something just *slightly* fancier than a standard text editor, because I wanted to be able to use multiple fonts. Yet, I didn't want some monster program that took minutes to load!
Jarte is fantastic, loads nearly as fast as notepad, supports RTF format for simple formatting and font selection, has tabs for handling multiple files, and has more configuration options than you ever dreamed of looking for. Jarte is King!
