This looked like a good piece of freeware although I did link to CNet's Download.com page for the download to bypass the author's excessive info-to-get-download-link requirements. Then I got this report: I downloaded the PowerSHAPE-e CAD program and got my reg. code. Only then did I find out something that you should be aware of. The CAD program needs another piece of software, which is free, to import CAD drawings from other programs. Not a big deal. However, in my e-mail that had my reg code, is the fact that the CAD program can only export via their voucher program, at $200.00 per export. In other words, you can't take your drawing with you. You must export it for $200.00! Each! In my opinion, that makes this program CRIPPLEWARE, not freeware. I immediately deleted my copy as I think that it's useless. Yes, I can use the program to draw with, but since I can't give my drawings to others unless I pay $200.00, it's of no use to me.
Thought you should know. I don't think it would be of much use to anyone else, either.
Thanks Marvin, that info was nowhere, not on the author's site, not on any download site!
Listing removed but forum topic will remain as a warning to others ;-)
