Good luck trying to find a download site. I tried all links, and they were useless blind links.
This listing is basically adware, or links ads that have nothing to do with the software you are looking for. This should be removed.

The Winsite download link works.
You have to click on the words "Download Now", Winsite will then show you a full page ad, if you wait a few seconds it will disappear & the download will start OR you can click the word Skip in the top right corner of the ad to go directly to the download page.

The first day, I clicked Download Now, then clicked Skip, and was put on the useless links page. It happened at least three times before I wrote my opinion. OK, today I clicked on Download Now, waited for the full page ad, and when the ad page disapeared, I was on the useless links page again. So I closed the window, re-read the instructions, went to the opinion page, then back where I started and again: I clicked on Download Now, clicked Skip, and this time went straight to the Holy Bible KJV download page, and it downloaded with no problem.

As for the Holy Bible KJV: This review is based on five or ten minutes playing with it.
Pros:
As near as I can tell, it was designed as a search and topical reference; and for that purpose I can recommend this. In my opinion, a topical search is possibly the most important Bible study tool to have.
Cons:
I have not found a way to just read the Bible. In other words, I was not able to open a chapter of the Bible and start reading. There may be much more I could do that I did not discover in the very brief time I spent trying it.
Conclusion:
I would say this is a worthwhile download.

what - you obviously had a lot of problems with Winsite which I know is horribly frustrating. Using Firefox, I've just gone through the click; skip; routine & the download started almost immediately. I don't know if you saw on the download page:
Your download request is being processed. File transfer will begin automatically in ten to twenty seconds. If it doesn't, try a location closer to you:
Canada || Czech Republic || England || Japan || Poland || Russia || Russia || Spain || Switzerland || From WinSite

Every one of those locations is a *direct* download link, every one of them worked for me ;-)

As to the program, you might find the screenshots here helpful, especially the first one. This is very definitely a study/reference Bible &, as far as I can see, the default is to display the books of the Bible with Strong's numbers which makes it difficult to just read. The author says this option can be turned off so, if simply unchecking it in the box doesn't work, try looking in the 'Options' menu.
