System Utilities → File Management → Change File Attributes

Toggles the “HIDDEN” property of all the files or folders in a given directory. I use it to keep my desktop looking pretty but it could also be used to hide files for security reasons. Graphical Interface for choosing folder to use, alternate version available for hiding one file or one folder....
