System Utilities → Security → Password Recovery

Most applications under Windows allow you to store their passwords. Once the password is stored, it is hidden under a row of "***" asterisks and cannot be read again. Now, this nifty utility allows you to read any of your passwords that are covered by the asterisks by simply dragging a cursor over such a password field....

This did exactly what it said and saved my sister much distress as she just got a new laptop and had forgotten her passwords due to her MS. Now she has lost no data.
