I'd strongly recommend against this ........ whilst it may be free, it also wants to get rid of a ton of empty but REQUIRED registry keys, and preselects everything it finds. Whilst it provides an option to create a system restore point, it does NOT have this pre-checked, and additionally does not seem to be able to tell when SR is disabled.
Average Joe isn't gonna know the keys are required and thus, isn't gonna untick them - thereby risking the system becoming unstable (at best).
This program is far too risky to be useful by anyone other than an experienced (as in VERY experienced) user that can undo and/or prevent any screwups.

Thanks Steven, I've added a warning to the listing.
You've got to appreciate the irony though, this program has been around since fall 06 & user reviews have been mixed. The main complaint was that it did a decent job of detection but not cleaning! It sounds as though the latest version has gone a tad too far with the cleaning ;o)

One of the things that annoy me more than rogues (and annoying me more than rogues do, is not an easy task), are non-rogues (whether free or pay) that do an even worse job with F/P's and sc*** ups ...
