System Utilities → System Tools → Command Line

FreeEject is a free, light-weight utility used to eject removable media such as REV, DVD/CD and Quikstor by simply specifying the drive letter associated with the media. It is run via command line and can be used within scripts, programs and batch files. We envision that most users will use FreeEject to eject removable media at the end of backup jobs but there are countless other uses for it too!...
