Description: Freeware to learn and train the Morse code. Needs a sound card and Windows OS (95 up to 8). The Morse message of page amateur radio has been generated with CW_PLAYER. CW_PLAYER includes automatic CW keying of the transmitter through serial and parallel ports or manual keying through the Joystick port. Good training. Click one of the small flags to know more about the numereous features of CW_PLAYER. Linux/Ubuntu users can run CW_Player through WINE 1.0. A special menu will add some fun for our lovely kids. A small utility software is provided to convert WAV files to MP3 files.

Flamory

Description: Flamory can save a copy of every web page and file that you see on your screen, so you can find them later. History stays on your computer only. Your privacy is protected. Tell Flamory to make a snapshot. It will save a screenshot, selected text and position on the page. Double-click the snapshot and Flamory will open the exact place in the document. It's like a bookmark, but better. Find saved web page by any words from its contents. Or scroll the list of snapshots and find the one by a screenshot. When you do a Google search, Flamory will search your snapshots too. If it founds something, blue stripe will appear on the right side of the screen. This stripe will also appear when you visit a page that you snapshotted. Right-click it to see what was found. Flamory groups related snapshots into topics. Just click on T near any snapshot to see your whole research in one place. Flamory works the same way with web pages, emails, local files, pdf books, and other documents.

Description: A small utility designed to help you become more accurate and realistic about your predictions and promises. Add items like “Number of pages I will write this week” or “Number of pounds i will lose this month”, and provide your predicted/promised values. Then, at the end of the time period, record your actual achieved values. Bestimate keeps track of how far off you were from your initial prediction/promise. Note that this program is intended to help you become more realistic about your predictions, so being off in either direction is just as bad!

Description: Origami Editor 3D is an open-source Java application for modeling the mechanism of three-dimensional paper folding. It can reproduce every operation in the Yoshizawa-Randlett system, with the exception of cutting and inflating (there still is a workaround to fold a water bomb with it). The finished works can be exported to 3D files or PDF documents containing auto-generated folding instructions for the model in a somewhat human-readable form. Please note that this program was created mainly for fun and still is a work in progress. More folding options and a more sophisticated PDF generation algorithm is planned to be added in the future.
